BIMI Record Generator

BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) shows your logo next to authenticated mail in inboxes that support it, mainly as a trust signal once your other authentication is already solid. Fill in your logo below to generate the TXT record.

How to use this tool

  1. Confirm DMARC is already enforced at p=quarantine or p=reject — BIMI is ignored by every mailbox provider otherwise.
  2. Enter your domain and a selector (leave it as default unless you already publish more than one BIMI record).
  3. Provide the HTTPS URL of your logo: an SVG saved in the BIMI-required Tiny P/S profile, not a plain export from Illustrator or Figma.
  4. Add a Verified Mark Certificate (VMC) URL if you have one — Gmail requires it before it will actually display the logo.
  5. Click Generate, then publish the resulting TXT record at the host shown, through your DNS provider.

A finished BIMI record looks like this, published as a TXT record at default._bimi.example.com:

It's needed so mailbox providers that support BIMI (Gmail, Yahoo, Fastmail and others) show your verified logo next to your mail in the inbox — a visible trust signal for recipients, and one more reason DMARC enforcement pays off once it's in place.

BIMI only takes effect once DMARC is enforced at p=quarantine or p=reject. A record published under p=none will be ignored by every mailbox provider. If you haven't enforced DMARC yet, start with the SPF and DKIM tools first, then check or build your policy with the DMARC checker & builder — and use the domain scanner's DMARC aggregate report reader to confirm nothing legitimate breaks before moving off p=none.
